BrianG this is the single best thing i've done to my Revo, it is currently on hiatus as the evx has gone on strike and can't seem to get it to work. Oh well time to save for brushless, already got the motor, just need the esc

Brian G, just to add to my previous post i have landed on the nose and tail(yes the rear has two pieces to) hard and no damage. The revo bulks are strong enough to handle almost anything you can do to it.so go on ahead and :007:

Cool. I figured it was good for a racer, but was concerned about the bulkhead thing for bashing use. When I first got my nitro Revo, I broke the front bulkeads (among other things) during the first tank after break-in! I tend to be a bit hard on things; the combination of poor driving skills, high speeds, and hard, immovable objects tends to break stuff. :) Still, I'd feel more comfortable if someone would come out with Al bulkheads.

Aluminum hybrids should be out in no time!

Well the lower plate and the X-braces adds a lot of support that the stock revo seriously lacks. When mine was nitro i worried about the chassis bending, that is why i recomend the G2R for bashing, it has support the stock chassis doesn't have and is more bash capable IMO

Yeah, the x-brace really does make the revo rigid, and i bet somehow you can make the front plates one piece, just needs some re-thinking thats all. I think we should see the hybrids out soon enough, it isnt that easy to make them though, ill really love to see what design flm comes out with.
