Thanks :)

Got some racing tires for it..well kind of (Supra sales caliber knock offs), and some diff tuning, and MAN, is it dialed. For the first time I could drive it easily around the track. Was easily keeping up with a bud's rc8be on same number of cells. Was really surprised..Just one thing, is it just me, or is their a problem in the motor mount? As after a couple hours ar the track, everytime i go to the track, the motor moves and i have to readjust it (I make sure the two scews holding the motor are tight).

it happened to me all the time until i used ZAP Z-71 RED THREAD LOCKER on the motor screws.

i tried 5 different brands of various strength and this is the only thing that would keep the motor secure. it says it's permanent threadlocker, but if you use a hairdryer with heat or a heat gun you can loosen it again after directing it at the motor for just a few seconds.

it drove me NUTS until i found that stuff.

most of these 1/8 buggies are so over-engineered that once you become a decent driver you can win with any platform you drive as long as you can set it up.

the owner of my track drives a 10 year old mugen and still runs circles around the latest and greatest buggies.:rofl:

glad to hear from you Arvint, you ought to check in more.

Yeah..I should...lately got busy again with my two 2wd slash's..Emaxx has been getting some love too :P Ofna hasnt really broken yet..and I dont see it needing anything..so yeah :P Either way..90% of my income is on the slash, the rest is split with the maxx and the ofna :P

Oh yeah..and a new savage X..been fun..my first nitro and all...so its fun :P

Man..these motor mount screws are annoying! Red thread locked the bottom motor screw and the top one came loose..so this time they are both red-ed..hopefully thats that. And the body mounts keept coming loose..but some longer screws now seem to have a tighter hold :D

Time to get a new body....

REALLY happy with this setup I have...Some people at the track out with there VE8's and eco's where surprised that it was a lx1e as I was right on them and passing in cases (If only my driving was better.. :P)

Wierdly..durability seems to be the problem for me now and track ability is great!
