More than1websiite thats selling the MMP SC combo states the motor is a 1415 36mm x 70mm.Either way I have allready bought the MMP SC combo.Does the MMP SC ESC have a specific software profile for its application?

1415 rotor length

Since Neu uses the same 1515 rotor in the 1415 is the castle 1415 1y able to use a Monster 1515 1y rotor.Yea i know the kv values are different.I bought the MMP SC combo sold the ESC and end up paying 40 bucks for a new 1415 1y.I love pee bay.

Nno -- we used a little different rotor in the 1415 -- it's a little smaller in diameter than the 1515 rotor.

It was more expensive for the tooling, but we got better performance. This way we have more room for copper in the windings.

Thanx!

Patrick

Cool thanks.I was just curious if any parts were interchangeable. This CC 1415 is gonna go in my Slash 4x4 on 4s with the MMP I allready have in there.

Can anyone confirm the shaft size on the 2400kv motor ?

Cheers

jhautz 12.30.2010 05:40 PM

1/8" shaft. Saw one with the MMP SCT combo at the LHS.

I guess Patrick is intensionally ignoring the question of if it is possible that 5mm shaft versions of these motors might be offered in the future. would really like to see that.

Yeah -- the shaft through the motor is 5mm, and it's turned down to 3.15mm so standard pinions can be used.

If there is enough interest, we could do a 5mm shaft version.

Thanx!

jhautz 12.30.2010 06:53 PM

I'd take one of each w a 5mm shaft!!

In how much time Patrick the Mamba Monster and 4800kv motor will be release ? and what motor are the best for stampede 4x4 (3lbs truck without battery) : 4800kv on 2S lipo or 2400kv on 4S lipo ?

Thank !

How about a 5MM shaft motor maintenance package with replacement rotor? (for 1406, 1410, 1415)

bdebde 12.30.2010 10:22 PM

5mm shaft would be nice on the 1410 and 1415.

Yea. That would be a decent solution. Can I get on a preorder list for the new 5mm shaft option rotor? When will they be ready?

LOL No Pressure....:mdr:
