Yes, you need a power supply....see the hyperion thread i started, it may also be on the LBA6 balancer thread too

Any power supply that outputs a steady 12v DC and capable of at least 15 amps. If you're not afraid of a little modding, you can save a few bucks by modding a PC power supply. Check out this thread.
