I like it alot. Its actually much better than I expected. XTM is not exactly known for high quality, but so far Im impressed. The drivetrain on it seems reaaly solid. I don't think I will have nay issues with it.

It handles really nicely. Nice and stable. Its realatively low to the ground, but still has enough clearance to handle the rougher terain. Acceleration is really good. More power thant the wheels can hold traction wise. I might look at getting some deeper tread tires for better traction in grass. The tires on it now are more designed for the track and in the grass it was just spinning all 4 wheels if I didn't roll on the throttle nice and smooth

I actually cant wait to get this 2 speed pinion finshed now. It had some really good top end even with only 1 speed. Its gonna reallly fly once I get the 2 speed sorted out. Its very stable at full speed now so hopefully it will handle the higher top end with no problems.

I really think the key to making it handle so well was the LST shocks in the rear. They do a really nice job. And with a buggy this size the smaller shocks even look like they are to small.

Do you use the cutoff on the quark? what runtimes do you get with these truerc's? and have you got an eagletree to hook it up with? (the all familiar question LOL)

Yes, I use the cut off on the quark. It works well. I haven't completetly discharged a full pack on the XLB yet, but I use it on my revo as well. Basically as soon as I feel the power drop when the batteries dump, about 5-10 seconds later the LVC cuts out. Then I tap reverse to reset it and it lets me run a little longer to get the truck back in.

Run times on the XLB I'm not real sure on yet, I only ran the one pack and I had pinion problems before the battery dumped. I was at about 25 miutes when I lost the pinion so I know its at least that long. It probably would not have gone much longer considerin the grass I was running in. It was pretty shaggy. On my revo or emaxx I am getting 45 miutes easily bashing. If I run a constant heavy throttle through grass, I get 25-30 minutes easy. Sometmes slightly more. Real nice packs for the money.

No eagle tree yet... I know we had this conversation once before. I have it on the x-mass list this year though. I just havent gotten around to getting it yet.

REALLY nice! That buggy is very cool and seems to run very well. Its hard to believe something that big could be that light.
