Crappy pics are better than no pics. ;)

Tamiya used to make the ultra rare hi lift trucks with full metal parts and so on. That's their latest hi left truck. I hope they would release some aluminum hop ups for it.

You mean the bruiser?

There is also a company that is making aluminum axle cases and other parts too. Stock it has a steel chassis it you didn't know...

Since I finished my TXT project I've built a Tamiya High-Lift, the M-03 Mini Copper and now I'm working on a 2.2 Crawler out of TLT axles. I'm driving my wife a little nuts right now, because I've bought the Mini and TLT this month along with two Mamba Max 5700 setups, OUCH!

Very cool rc's. Looks really fun to just mess around with, lol.

I really like the realism of the hi-lift truck. Although, if it were mine, it would be a shelf queen I think.

What chassis this is?!

bluonyx 04.14.2007 05:38 PM

That is a TXT Chassis. Looks like a new one, if your really into rock crawling they always get hacked up, like mine.

nice trucks! i really, really like the scale look of the hi-lift. tamiya makes some great products!

i've got a clod that i have had for years and years. i went from stock to a JPS aluminum chassis and JPS aluminum wheels about 6 years ago, then it broke and i stuck it in a closet.

i finally dug it out last fall and converted it into a nearly full-on crawler - dual 55t lathe motors, big bore shocks, i moved a set of the links so it could articulate more, added a rear servo and have fully-independent proportional steering, and even a custom light set i can turn on and off from my tx. she's sweet now - there isn't much that can stop her!
