I was thinking of it as a racer. |
The new RCCA has a pic of an electric 1/5 buggy.... that woudl be pretty sweet, just drop in your motor etc of choice and you are done! :)
Me thinks this is a good test for a Neu 1521+ lol and 8s with a MonsterMax :004: Seriously, when the MMM is here, these big cars really become possible... without dropping $600 on a Schulze anyway... 8s 8000mah Maxamps MMM esc ?? motor hmmmm...... |
Glass, where'd you see that at?

Go to the thread named "H.a.r.m" and you'll have plenty of details about these Goliath like machines.
|
They are big. I just not crazy about the looks of them. I was thinking of a lst 2 for a conversion as well. I may just see about some non rc items. I just unsure at this point and time.

How about asking "Her" to get you a Platinum Rolex with Diamonds?
Now that's something good. |

I rather have a gold plated with diamonds emaxx. :005: |
If you can wait until after Christmas the Losi 8ight-T is due out in January. From what I've heard the 8ight buggy is already getting rave reviews. If the new truggy version is as good it should give the Mugen and Kyosho truggies a run for their money.

But that is like nitro.
Would be better converted. |
Hey! I got it!
You should ask Mike himself about it. Probably you should ask him to make you a custom e-maxx chassis that can hold 12 cells flat in each side. The chassis is gonna be very long and thus you need to think about a new type of suspension, which should be wider and bigger than the current Maxx suspensions. You should also search for the toughest types of diffs to go with it. Like a 1/6 scale diffs. Pick yourself a 22 series motor or use the 2250 you already have with 12s lipos and you shall have a super fast, super big truck. Probably its gonna be a costy project, but I thought you might want to think about it. |
I no longer have a 22 seris motor. I sold it off. I do plan to run lipos.
|
To customize a chassis to hold 12 cells, you could just cut or trim the gmaxx down to fit. I thought about doing that to mine to hold my lipos. No need for the extra length on the lower tray.
