I said that about my MAXX! Now, thousands of dollars later and only 2 trans gears left from the original!....................

I ended up breaking 3 stock chassis before I got wise and got an FLM Ext.

Ouch! How did you manage that? I've never broken a single chassis.........

I think the only thing left on mine is the elctronics, shocks and the drivetrain.

I am by anyones standards a newbie and can't drive.

Well we all have bad days too. I lost sight of mine on a tight indoor track(another driver backed into me on the stand).....and smacked a wall coming off the big jump. Destroyed a shock, bulkhead, bent a control arm, and damaged a shock tower!

Thankfully it was all before I upgraded to UE Supermaxx but it was still a bummer.

I hit a tree avoiding my niece. (She was five and thought it would be fun to jump in front of it.) One of the afore mentioned chassis a bulkhead, shock tower, and skidplate bit the dust.

Better than a screaming 5-yr old with a shattered ankle!

Good point. But at the time i was thinking she isn't mine. But I think I have it to where only the bumpers and the body posts will break for no faster than I'm going.
