It's just epoxy holding the front endbell on. They should have put threads on it like they did with the 380C motors.

Well the rear endball is screwed on and held in place by a set screw. The front endball looked as if it was held in place with epoxy or glue...

Well that is not much better than the reg smooth can motors.
At least you can buy the rcm heat sink clamp and not worries.
Screwed on would be much better.
