Yep, will try and remember to. If I get someone else to go out there with me, I'll probably bring my video camera also.

Sorry bud, I've been innundated with work lately. Would like to make an attempt next Tuesday if'n you're up for it. That will give me some time to get the cars running again.

No progress on the LSP either! Aak!

Yep, I should be up for next Tuesday. I'm hoping to get my Maxx and an LSP up and running this weekend if possible. If nothing else, one or the other. Drop me an e-mail or call me before Monday so I can plan when we want to head out there Tuesday.

I'm heading out there today, hope the truck doesn't break that early into it. I'll be sure to take lots of pictures for yall.

Made it out there, the directions on the sheet are easy to follow. Nice place, they have a big water skiing park. They have a big track for MX and then a smaller one that doubles for the R/C. $10 gets you unlimited R/C running. Just sign the waver.

It's a nice track (other than it wasn't watered down, then when I was leaving they decided to water it). So it was a bit dusty for me. There was another guy with a xxx-t. Ran into problems early with an axle pin but made a new one with a body clip. The li-po gave me lots of run time. I didn't have to recharge it and I ran for almost an hour. I ended up loosing a nut to one of the ball studs on the bellcranks. But it was fun. Tore the rest of the body up, and the front tires are now all gone.

The track is a nice size. But it gets a bit narrow in some of the middle sections. Should be great for MT's as well.

I got some pictures for you guys.

Heres the layout from left to right.

Thanks for the pics Seth. Seeing that makes me glad I bought bowties for my T3 versus Holeshots. If all goes well, I should be able to get some video of the track on Tuesday when I go out there *fingers crossed*.

I think I'm going to get some Bow Ties and then Edges for the front.

Those are exactly what I bought last weekend for my T3.

seth556 04.20.2007 06:03 PM

Got them today. For some reason my dad was in a very happy mood and decided to give $60 to the kind people at the LHS. Also rebuilt my shocks. They are much smoother now.

jnev 04.20.2007 06:45 PM

Really awesome track. I love the tracks that are a decent size and filled with jumps like this one. :027:

seth556 04.20.2007 07:23 PM

It just a little confusing to navigate at first because there aren't any walls yet. But once I figured out where it went it got easier. Just kept forgetting about the singles on the last little stretch before the right hand section. Those doubles were killing my truck.

Which LHS? Superior? That's where I got mine. I don't care much for the guys in there because some of them are quite arrogant, but they're the only place in town to get parts like that. If I had known I wasn't going to make it out there this week, I would have just saved a few $ and ordered them from tower.

seth556 04.20.2007 08:02 PM

I really like Superior. Theres a few guys in there I don't care for ether. But theres that guy (I forget his name) that used to run 1/10 ST down at Stricktland and now runs a Lazer. Then Chris is happy to help with anything. I haven't seen Ben in there in a long time. Mike is the guy who got me started in R/C but now is really lazy and just sits in the back room and orders stuff.

skellyo 04.26.2007 10:41 PM

I went to the track today for about an hour. I was really a bit disappointed that it wasn't in better shape or didn't have a better layout. With the track laid out the way it is, brushless power is pretty much useless. It's like blip the throttle, jump, blip the throttle, jump, blip the throttle, turn...the whole way around the track. There are absolutely no straights to open it up anywhere without a jump.

That being said, my 380C 6L is too much out there...way too much, especially when the track isn't wet down. Without any water on the track, you might as well put ice in the turns because the light sand on top of the hard packed stuff. I also don't like that there are like 4 different jumps on the track that are choice jumps, where you go to one side or the other. It wouldn't be so bad, but they're so narrow, it's very difficult to pick a line and hold it without either going off the track or crossing lines mid-jump.

I will go back at least once more, but if the track is in the same condition, I might not go back after that. The biggest downfall is that they will keep having the mini motocross kids ride on it the days the RC guys don't and it just ruts up the track.

The only good part is the turn marshall guy that'll run out there and flip your truck back upright for you. Eh, we'll see how I fell if I go back out there next Tuesday.
