I like it too but it's a bit pricey just the same.

Back when the tranny was being used in the TXT-1.....

i emailed mike to see if he has any couplers. we'll see. it sure is a lot cleaner than the drive dog and 3 bearings pushing against the 2nd gear!

those that motor mount work with a tock chassis or will it hit the battery, i was wondering cause i have a moded extended t-maxx chassis on my e-maxx and im buying the g1 single speed and i was wondering if i should pick up the plate at the same time, i know 40$ is kindeo off expensive, but it is a nice peice!!

ClodMaxx 04.23.2007 11:33 PM

if your stock motor mount has enough clearance for the batteries, the G1 single motor mount will have enough as well. it doesn't take up more room on the motor side... it may even take up a bit less. just make sure you mount it at the 30 degree mark and not at 15 degrees (unless you have a flat lipo pack).

It appears that GorillaMaxx does have them back in stock.

If you find out soon enough that Mike can get them please post it.

-And I really do not feel that $39 is too much for the motor mount. I think that I am the only one though. :027:
