Okay. So I should try Zippy. I dont think that its bad choise.
want to go cheap you can go with Zippys ( make sure they are the "R" cells) and True RC
I can buy any LiPo:s I want to buy, but if I go Zippy, I will test them . If they are not good enough, I will sell them to Finnish racers ( 3S LiPo:s are hot stuff for 1:10 car drivers in Finland ) and I buy some new batteries, like FlightPower packs.
If the MMM is not coming in good time, is those MGM controllers good enough ? I had a 16016 and 16018, and they were working fine.
I got my X1CRT Pro in yesterday, and now I have been make some little mods. I cut the radio tray plate to half and fixed it, now there is only mounting for steering servo.
I did use 4 zippy H and 4 Zippy K battery, there are good to go. Just be carefull about cells balancing, in early use the might be unbalanced like mine were.
Yeah, I know it. Balancing is very important part of LiPo batteries operating, its bad thing if cells are not balanced good enough or right, they can puff if doing it wrong.
I got my batteries to Finland from Honkong, and they are waiting in the custom house ( dam those payments ) . I will get those LiPo packs and charger in monday. |
which batteries did you buy? id be interested to hear your opinion on them when you use them!
Zippy-H packs, 5000mAh 11.1v 20C. I will give some information when I get them from custom.
edit -next I will read more carefully-
Here is some pictures how my project is going:mdr: .
I cut the radio tray to half and fixed it, now there is space for motor. I will remove the radiobox and plant motor there. Those LiPo packs are Zippy 5000mAh 11.1v 20C packs, and charger is GT-Power A8 ( same as Bantam BC8 ) .
Battery holders are homemade :D . |
Looks like I take MGM 16018 because MMM is not coming out on a time. I removed radiobox of and I am now using hydraulic heat shrinkable tube to wirings ;D .
just wait a little longer... then u will have a controller for 1/2 of the price.... should be reliable too.
Maybe, maybe not :P .
