No, But you can build a compleate AE RC8 center diff with a plastic spur & it will fit into the stock Mugen center diff mount. I've also used a compleate Kyosho Inferno center diff with Kyosho plastic spur but this is about 2mm to long to fit into the stock mugen mounts so mods are required.

thank you but now i am happy with my stock steel spur gear, no problems with it

thank you

Would the RCM battery tray be able to accommodate 2 x 2s kipos inside?

BrushlessRacer 01.17.2010 09:20 AM

depends on lipo size..

Please ask Mike witch one you need

mihael 01.17.2010 10:55 AM

the mbx6 buggy tray is a perfekt fit for 2 hardacse lipos and the truggy tray allows to drive longer lipos like the hyperion 6500er.

the sizes are describe on the rc -monster page if you reed it.

i drive the buggy tray in my mugen truggybecuase i dont need the longer one. it fits good. i have drilled two holes to make it fit. i like it

I've done the measurement of my 2 x 2s lipos stacked. The buggy battery tray will be a good pick. Thanks.
Though highly improbable, do any of you run on 2 x 2s fitted in the single battery tray? If so, please post pics. :)

Can someone flip the motor mount to the opposite side of the servo and measure how much clearance it has to clear for the motor?

my conversion has the rc-monster buggy tray. it fits good, 2 ne holes are to drill.
i cut the esc holder away.

it looks good and everything fits good.

Is there a need to use offset tires with the 6T?

Can I check something? Will the battery tray be sitting partly on the side guards?

mihael 02.05.2010 05:46 AM

it hang a littel bit over the guard but there is n touch on the guards

adrictan 02.05.2010 08:34 AM

Flipping the center diff, would it affect anything?

captain harlock 02.16.2010 10:11 AM

Guys, is it possible to fit the 5t aluminum chassis braces in the 6t, even with some mods?

adrictan 02.17.2010 02:25 PM

Has anyone mounted a Tekno battery Tray onto the stock MBX6T Chassis?

mihael 02.17.2010 03:10 PM

hi there

i did it before i get the rc monster tray

the tekno fits extremely bad on the chassis.

you have to do too much things that it fits. its the wrongest way to go.

I got a qn.

Having the mount mount, servo, motor, transponder on 1 side. It weighs abt 550g.
My lipos excluding the battery tray weighs abt 660g already. Would it matter abt the weight balance?

mihael 03.02.2010 07:19 AM

hi there

now i change from the 4s set up.

i go to 5s and try the tekin 1550 truggy motor and the medusa v2 3670 1600 on my mugen.

i think the NEU 1412 1500 is a intersting engine for 5s

i would let you know next week if the change was good

Using the RC Monster battery tray, does any one know if it fills the flywheel hole (simalar to the associated conversion for the RC8). Is it required to drill any new holes in the chassis or does it bolt right up?

thanks

alport 06.14.2011 07:37 AM

You don't need to drill something , bolt right in..

Do you know if it comes with a small plate to cover the clutch bell slot in the chassis?

RC-Monster Mike 06.14.2011 11:07 AM

The battery/RESC tray covers the flywheel slot in the chassis.
