Adding some low esr caps (or a pre-made CapPack) certainly won't hurt (I have extra caps on most of my escs) - it's meant to reduce ripple voltage and so should take some stress off the esc.

Edit: btw, that new Mamba XL2 does look nice - no more metal cases falling apart!

I just got my recalled and burnt HV ice 60 back from castle today. I guess they also included a little compensation. A nice neck strap for a stick controller.

I just received my second MXL2. Very nice suprise, as i sold my XeRun150A yesterday... and today i received the package from CC. Very nice !!!
