That took the load off my back. Now those guys are crazy (in a good way). I would love to have a boat like that.

Now why hasnt anyone tried this as a powersource before?.... (I have seen one hemi-truck with one in, but thats it).

lutach 06.09.2007 07:35 PM

I saw a boat in there with twin jet engines. Now that is power.

zeropointbug 06.09.2007 07:47 PM

Is that a jet engine there?

Speaking of jet engine R/C, I just watched this last night, looks like the real thing! :018:

Sorry for the thread jacking Lutach, but those boats are awesome, and that F-22..... *dribbles down himself, but doesnt care*

Getter Robo 06.09.2007 08:15 PM

Did you try the Kontronik Power Jazz? It can hold up to 63V, you should watch the instant, non proportional brakes, though.

lutach 06.09.2007 10:11 PM

I heard the PowerJazz is giving some guys a lot of problems. I haven't heard anything yet on the Schulze 40.160. The boat and Helicopter guys seems to be having a lot of fun with the 40.160.

Getter Robo 06.25.2007 08:08 PM

What were exactly the problems with the Power Jazz?

lutach 06.26.2007 01:01 AM

A few guys were using them on boats and they failed. I also heard the same for some guys who flies planes and helicopter.

Ran my BPP on 10S lipos today

I had to do it again LOL. I went out today to this one park nearby that has a nice parking lot. Well the numbers are freakish impressive. I ran for 9mins and stopped a few times to check temps and it did get a bit on the warm side. The Neu 1521 1Y was spinning at around 58000+- RPMs and it sounded like it wanted to rip the truck apart. The truck drew a nice crowd. One guy even brought his nitro crap touring car to get a whooping:whip: from a heavy truck (It felt great). He was talking so much nitro crap that I had to put him into his place. He tried to make an excuse that I spent too much for my equipment, but when I asked him to do the math on how much he spent on nitro, he got whooped:whip: a second time . I won't be trying it again on a 50 degree weather. I didn't warm my lipos and they were not happy, but they still provided enough juice to make 4760W and it wasn't on full throttle. I only used 1620mAh and the packs are 4600mAh. I'll just stick with my 2 3S 5000mAh KongPowers for now.

suicideneil 10.30.2007 07:07 PM

Nice one! Nitro users eh? when will they learn....

Nitro guys are like chihuahua (Did I spell it right, if not it is those rat looking Mexican dogs). This little dogs knows very well the bigger dogs will just kill them, but they don't show fear until it's too late . Just like the nitro guys. When it is too late they just try and try to make the most stupid excuses.

I made a quick video of the truck for some folks in Brasil. I had to edit due to some distractions of a hawk eating a pigeon. Here is the video:

I have 2 companies making a few packs for me. The voltage of one pack should be at 58+ volts and it will weigh around 500g each LOL. Man I wish the ESC manufacturers made a ESC that can handle that :diablo:.

aqwut 11.29.2007 05:50 PM

I like it dude... lots of POWER!!...

Serum 11.29.2007 05:58 PM

It has power to spare, but it is not like some of your vehicles. I was using only 22.2 volts and I know if I had used 10S it would've been out of control.

I took the Align out when I bought the 1521/1Y. I was using 6S, 2 3S 5000mAh KongPower packs. Awesome batteries.

Getter Robo 11.29.2007 06:14 PM

Totally awesome! You should do a race with that truck :D

I was going to the RC-Monster bash, but I couldn't find a babysitter for my daughter. Plus, I haven't touched a track in almost 4yrs now. I would just run myself and others out of the track .

I have the Schulze 40.160 and it can handle 14S. My Jeti Spin 200 can also handle 14S and my own ESC when they come out will handle 15S. I know MGM can make a TMM 9044 with the car software.
