Yep, just like cheerleaders!

The 1/5 scale cars look great. Is there a good place to find rollers? Or just search the various forums. I remember a 1/5 scale specific forum, can't remember the name now...

I'm trying to get the place (s) that makes them to send me one so I can convert it, but sometimes it's just frustating dealing with some companies in Asia. There are a few in ebay that are somewhat cheap.

I spoke to the guys that offer the car I posted pics about if I get any info I will let you know.

Never seen one. I would love to see one though. I think one of those clones going for around $400 would do a nice BL Baja. Actually I think Finedesign has a BL Baja http://www.finedesignrc.com/ct-hpi-hotbodies.asp. They should've made some custom parts to make the BL conversion better.

Guys, you both are talking my language here. I have no desire to get one over 60 or so but I have been itching for a 5th scale electric for years.

Lutach, all of these recent posts have me excited. If I can see that it can be done reasonably, I will definitely get into this. Now if only these 12s controllers can come about, we may have something. I would either go F1 or touring, I really don't want a 5th scale monster truck. I have been contemplating a DM-1 Pro conversion, I just want something bigger.

The car you and JZ keep referencing, do you have any links to it? Thanks.

Here is a company that makes the 4x4: http://www.mcdracing.com/
I can get them from Asia at a very good price, but I'm trying to get a sample first before I plunge into it. The DM-1 is a very nice vehicle and has plenty of space for a nice 12S set up. If I do get a sample, I will go custom with it. I found a company that can do a very strong and light weight carbon fiber chassis.

The FS Racing is very nicely priced, but I don't see any info on the 4WD in FS's website. I have spoken with a few companies that claims they are the manufacturer of them. I'll wait and see which one will send me a sample first to find out .

I will keep buggin the places to see if they can send me one. I have basically all the electronics ready to go into one. I even told the companies I would send them the chassis and parts required to make the conversion after I had done it.

I'm planning on going with one of my Spin200, a Lehner 2250 and 10S2P A123 for the time being.

Edit: I guess if that one guy went 90+mph with a 2240, I should be easily able to get 50-60mph just for fun.

Yeah, easily. I'm shooting for 100+mph setup, but will back it down to 65 or so if I do any road course racing.
