I like this version better than your last version. No offense intended. Your batterys are pretty low do they hit the ground ?

First one has its benefits as well.

I build battery housing to be strong, to protect future LiPo cells. So, yes it does come in contact with ground but nothing to worry. That how it looks after 10+ runs http://forum.rcdesign.ru/index.php?a...=post&id=19800
I built it from 3 parts, if you do the same as one, then you can level battery cover with f/r skidplates. But if you worry about ground clearance then my first setup would be better.

P.S. Try to put 6 cells between front and rear skid plates. You will get better picture of what I am talking.

That battery tray looks pretty strong. Plus it also stiffens the chassis. Your CG must be alot better with this setup than your previous one :p .

Anyboy know anything about the controler this guy used, cause it look really small. And I checked out the website an dnot sure if you can buy from it.
