-painted: motor mount and plate, bulkhead retainers, and springs
-deanodized hex hubs
-rerouted servo wires into batt vents
-only visible wires are motor wires and batt wires
-switched motor to low cog position

Looks very nice- I like the RX mounting spot, makes for a clean layout. Only thing I'd be concerned about would be a bad front end collision. Could damage lipo, RX or both...

i have the battery stop holding it towards the back and is also servo taped there as well. leaves me with 150mm of space left... perfect for flightmaxes

some updates. i have died the rockers and chassis black. it looks sick! :yes:

i also have a bit of a story to tell. i attempted (make special note of ATTEMPTED) to dye the transmitter case. i died the back half of my traxxas 2.4ghz radio case and it turned out good. so i put the front half into the dye and i begin to assemble my e-revo. :whistle:so i come back in half an hour to check on it and alot of the water evaporated out of the pot leaving some of the case sticking out of the water and the part of the case that was not submerged ended up melting and was badly distorted :no:

i learned my lesson. dont dye without checking on it. haha. i had to learn it the hard way

i also reciever my zippy 3s 5000mah 30C lipos along with my charger and power supply:mdr:
now i just have to solder the connectors

and some of you may know that my MMM was sent in for a reciever lead replacement. so im also waiting for that. pictures will be up soon

On the tx casing issue (:oops:), I could be wrong but the stock AM txs look identical pretty much, so it might be possible to pick up a cheapy one from ebay and swap out the melted half, unless ofcourse you've already replaced it.

i havent found a replacment yet. i cant belive traxxas doesnt sell just the case.... i guess ill heat ebay and see what they have. thanks for the info and support :mdr:

just a little update

To Do:
-ship MMM to castle for new receiver wires
-solder traxxas connectors to batteries and charger
-buy new front and rear body mounts
-get a new transmitter case

I was looking at that 1st tx picture, thinking that looks alright... then.... :lol: oops. I would wager that an am radio case would be compatible, though if it isnt it wont be much $ wasted- must be a million of those on ebay at the moment I would have thought?
