I think it is best to keep saving. Don't want you to get your hopes up and get let down. I like to know what it does in an emaxx. Please get the esc and test it out.

well i got an email back and they said i can send the motor back and they will send me the 540 size motor + pay me what it cost to ship the motor back.

mmdooley 01.20.2006 06:39 PM

Hey, that sounds good. I guess they would not tell how many turns it will have??

Basketti 01.20.2006 07:06 PM

I ordered a Feigao 540 9TurnBrushless Motor FG540B-9L
for 41 euros ($50):

http://www.feigao.com/sdp/85838/4/pd...040-51426.html

High power with radiator, special Re-buildable structure for back endbell, easy for maintenance and parts replacement.

Size : 540
Speed : 2731Kv
Turns : 9

It seems to be the same then the purple 540 9L but with incorporated heatsink.

Greetings.

well they said the 540 motor they will send is a 20T, so what should i do? get the 540 20T? will it be ok? its like to many turns aye, i would be running 8 cells but it would be slow on 8 cells aye?

boss 302 01.24.2006 07:59 AM

it would be slow but you could probably gear it higher to get more speed

coolhandcountry 01.24.2006 10:16 AM

A 20t is right slow. Should give you some awesome run time. The motor is not going to run like you want for the lack of cells and inturn is going to not have the power you want.

SpEEdyBL 01.24.2006 07:27 PM

The 380 8L will be much faster.

I agree with you on this. I think he has a 380 8xl though. Which would really kick it's butt. :D Don't you have to get a motor mount for a 380 can motor. I would put it in the truck an run the 380 to see what would happen. That is just me though.

Basketti 01.24.2006 10:54 PM

yeah i'll just keep it then lol.

coolhandcountry 01.24.2006 11:00 PM

When you test this thing would you let us know. I am curious to what it will run like. Run time and stuff to.

Basketti 01.24.2006 11:14 PM

yep sure will, could be a while though since i am busy at the moment, but when i do get it sorted i will :)
