...its essentially finished and I am just getting lots of video of it but TWO factors keep popping up...
1: At the end of the run i keep losing my spur...its fine DURING the run but something happens near the end of the batteries (maybe) that ends up chewing the spur...time to switch to metal or asking for trouble? Its INSANE when its running though... 2: but ONLY as insane as the bloody floppy tires will let it be...I either need to get better (and more) CA glue or switch to beadlocks which i dont REALLY want to do...The tires unbedaing is slowing down the run, killling driveability and causing too much heat from the Medusa 36-60 (which incidentally runs FINE when the tires stay on  ...Tell me my next move why oncha lol... |

Seriously, I never had problems with tires getting unbeaded... but I never use pre-glued wheels... always clean the tires with alcohol or other solvents, scuff the bead on the rim, and carefully glue them with the stronges CA glue you can find. Love the Proline glue, btw. Good Luck Daf |
...thanks for following along Daf :D I appreciate your input...Ok so i need to invest in better glue  Yeah i knew that lol...Note to self...Dont skimp on glue...whaich is what i HAD been doing...
...really? You dont think the orange fluffy slippers will work? Damn :( I was looking forward to those lol... |
I just ended up with PL glue because I knew that is what Mike stocks. He's my one-stop RC dealer
Any good CA glue should work, I used stuff from the crafts store with great success too. Very important to clean the tires when you buy them. They come with some kind of no-stick agent on them. |
those gluing tricks are totally true. Makes the bead last forever after...
The spur is another story.... |
