Alot has happened/changed since then. But anyway..................

This is the newer V2 RockShow chassis (white delrin) that I should be using soon.

Wonder if I should dye it or not?

Of course, that's my V1 Rockshow with the yellow panels in the background.

*********

Whats the difference between the two chassis besides the color ?.

RCShocker 06.20.2009 11:56 PM

The cab, so to speak, is 3" wide and a separate part of the chassis. Sets on the outside of the sideplates. The V1 has just the 2 sideplates, with 2 small bumpers to push the width to 3".

The V2 is not so attractive either.

Dome on the roof is the key to help with rollovers

Yes, I am very interested to try out the dome in the roofline now. It is no BeetleJuice but it rocks pretty darn good on the workbench.

Just got a new Tekin FXR to try out. Had nothing but MM's in all my crawler since I started. Somewhat impressed with how small it is. Interested too see how well the drag brake holds.

And I should have said the cab is 3" wide at the base when it is spaced and mounted to the sideplates. It is 2 1/2" at the top. You can see the 2 delrin spacers bowing down slightly as they are pulled together.

I've been thinking about going with even shorter shocks. These chassis' really like that. But going much shorter may be too short. I'm running 80mm shocks now. Add Punk R/C dig and CDW OTA steering & she should be squared away.

While all this is in limbo. I have been crawling my Kamikaze Zero-T Berg. And I like it ALOT so far. :gasp:

Those are quiet possibly the best looking crawler wheels I have seen. Should look awesome on there.

So I picked up a Mayhem Eng. sponsorship and will be running Dan's wheels.

I picked up set of used Mayhem 7's and then I have a set of Ultimate Comp Wheels (UCW) with delrin rings coming from Mayhem Eng.

Gonna run the new Panther Leopard tire's on the UCW's w/ 2-stage foams.

Didnt get any pic's at Cup. Too busy driving. Got some from the Bullhole practice though.

I'm running the T1E moon buggy at the moment - I met all the VP guys in Donner, CA when I went to the worlds - They do some really nice work. I got from the LCQ into the main event but had some challenges in the finals...

I have a few nice builds in the works for the next RC-Crawler specials I don't think you'll be disappointed when you see what's going into them... All three are showcase builds...

I have a fair amount going into a rebuild this week...

New shock setup this was just to get me running - 88mm shocks with RPM adjustable pistons / losi golds
CKRC steering setup
VP DH/SLW wheels

PS in Charlotte Wed -> Friday!

Damn, just stumbled upon this. What's going on in Charlotte?

The 88mm shocks should do very nicely. I always thought just a tad shorter than 90mm would be just about right.

You're gonna like the wheels alot too.

A local bud just set his new rig up with the CKRC steering. I'll see that Saturday at our Fall Series comp.

Thanks for the pic's too. How are you liking the high rise links? Enough to notice a big difference? Looking forward to seeing the rebuild.

RCShocker 09.27.2009 10:23 PM

Oh Yeah, I Made Final's

Took my RockShow Berg to her first finals appearance this weekend.

Had my stuff together but still kinda took me by surprise........literally

Put myself on the podium in 3rd........Wow, I'm still in shock.
