The wire management isn't an issue. If the bundles of wire are tugging on the coax connectors they might be coming apart and creating a bad connection. It's just like R/C wiring, bad connections have higher resistance. That's why I love fiberoptics. Too bad you cant run a car on red light....

Dollar says you're using RoadRunner.
Wait, isn't that all SoCal has? Grr. |

Eh, that's right.
Yeah, what are you using? Roadrunner right? :p I'm wondering why RoadRunner's upload is so slow lately. Before it used to be speeding.. Hmm |
Yep, Roadrunner. We've been using it for about 10 years now. Honestly the upload speed doesn't bother me too much, but it is a cause for confusion.

Paralyzed, try rebooting your router / firewall (I really hope you have one!) and your cable modem. Some brands have issues that cause performance to degrade over time.

It depends on the time of day though- this was done at ~5:40pm in the UK, but after most people have gone to bed, it gets alot quicker due tio less traffic- typically about 7-8mb/s. Still crap compared to some of you bastards- I hate you and your super fast internet connections... Edit: http://www.speedtest.net/result/455083775.png 20 minutes later and its nearly twice as fast- bizarre...... |
