Just a question, but which cars are the best/make the fastest lap times? Probably 1:8 4WD buggy's, right? But what comes after them, and after them? (I hope you get what I mean lol) I think it is, 1:8 4WD Buggy, 1:10 4WD buggy, 1:8 4WD truggy, am I right?

at my track truggies are turning laps comparable to buggies maybe a half second off.. think it might depend on the track

truggys are quicker at our track but its quite bumpy so they have the advantage

Truggies turn slightly quicker laps than buggies, making them the fastest. Their large tires and large footprints give them a distinct advantage.

No way does a nitro engine have more power than a BL race setup. They might produce 2 HP at 30'000 RPM, which is about 1500 W. A Neu 1512 puts out 2000 W for 30 sec and 1000 W continuous, which is more than any 3.5 ccm race engine.

I know a track where they ran 1/10 electric nationals, 1/8 buggy nationals and unofficial 1/8 truggy nationals, plus there was an electric 1/8 buggy at a club race. When the track is freshly flattened, 1/10 run the fastest laps. With some wear and bumps, 1/8 buggies are faster than 1/10 and the 1/8 truggies are the fastest. The electric 1/8 buggy was faster than his nitro counterparts, with a slightly less experienced driver, but only until his battery dumped at 18 minutes.
