I have some 2s Turnigy 5000 packs coming in. Looks like I might have to scrounge around and get some of those new 45C Polyquest packs. 2 4s 3700's in parallel should be amazing!

So the G4 came in! And man o man it looks great! I put it together in 1 hours time, no sweat. But its going to be coming apart for some special treatment, hopefully. I'll get some pics as of now later.

EDIT: Weighs in a 9lb 10oz RTR!

Looks great! Your MMM brunt up? That stinks!

nitrostarter 10.05.2009 10:00 PM

yep, sucks! I hope it doesn't take 4+ weeks...

jayjay283 10.05.2009 10:23 PM

Looking real nice, A set of the UE shock towers would really finish it off !!

redshift 10.05.2009 10:26 PM

nitro.... if you'll oblige me a small threadjack... are the 3906 and 3905 bulks the same?
I should know this, 'cept I don't run bulks...

But need to know if these http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail.php?prod=FLM17001
are ok for the 3905?

And also does anyone make aluminum diff cases for the 3905?

nitrostarter 10.05.2009 10:30 PM

Yep, those FLM bulks are really nice and strong and at a great price.

I have a set of Hardcore Racing bulks for sale. These are super strong and light, and are no longer in production tho.

redshift 10.05.2009 10:37 PM

Thanks for the offer, I think you'd better reserve those for someone who won't trash em in a day or two lol...

No on the aluminum diffcases? I have looked far and wide....

GH makes 3905 cups, they have silver too, but I HATE that company lol..

redshift 10.05.2009 10:47 PM

Thanks Jay, they're about on par with Integy aren't they....

I swear I was on GH's own site and missed those.

Yeah that has to be about the queerest name for an aftermarket parts co..... when I think of rc'c I think of rainbows and unicorns and sht.

nitrostarter 10.05.2009 10:55 PM

Coupon code for 10% off on GH's site: byt009

CLICK

You've got to find the other set though. And maybe you've seen this...

I've seen some come through ebay recently. The UE solution will always satisfy. Ultralights often come through.

CLICK This may not help as all of this is 3906 but worth a try.

UE 8s Ultralights and FLM bulks did the trick for me...

This must be for your friends Emaxx? We all know it cant be for yours.

Kcaz25 10.06.2009 09:25 AM

Redshift and guys: WHAT THE...??

And again??

redshift 10.06.2009 09:35 AM

Yep Zack, for my buddy's Maxx.... I'm trying to get him to ditch it before he puts another 4 bills into it... not to be a hater, but for pure bashing... well?

Thanks for the linkys, I'll have to check them out at lunchtime.
