I loved my FLM Stampy but it seemed to sit half the time waiting for FLM to replace arms. Most of the stuff could be bent back but still it was constant, Even bent the chassis twice. |
I think this thread has motivated me to get another slash to share in the bomb proofness of the way my wife beats the crap out of hers. Looking at a roller now for about 90 bucks. Should be fun!

Man, if FLM would just make their parts out of 7075-T6 instead of 6061-T6...it would remove a ton of the current bulk, making everything much lighter, while also making everything much stronger! I know 7075-T6 stock is more expensive, and the prices of the parts would go up, but they could continue to make the 6061-T6 parts, and only make a limited number of 7075-T6 parts at the higher prices. I am positive they would have no problem selling the higher-priced 7075-T6 parts!
