For 2s lipo, you're much better off with a 380c 6t, which will will smoke the lehner 5300 any day in a touring car.

I kind of agree there. The 6S is a very fast motor, but it does spool up all that fast, and with something like a Pro 4, you want it to spin up as fast as possible.

On top of that, mine is in a 4wd stadium truck which a) has a lot more drag on the surface, and b) is a lot heavier.

I think it would have way too much torque too - youd be facing the way you came all the time.

The 380c-6 has a stupidly high Kv rating, which would mean silly speed, and controllable acceleration (i've also heard reports of people getting their T4s to wheelie with them ;)). And you save $4.

The it's the 380c that will accelerate uncontrollably, not the 540.

SpEEdyBL 06.17.2006 10:12 PM

The same motor you already have.

Thunderbruiser 06.17.2006 10:17 PM

so a 6c woudl be good in a truck with moab 2.2's? using pede tranny and HPI NMT DIFFS?

SpEEdyBL 06.17.2006 10:26 PM

It should work fine, as long as you gear low enough. And btw, that's not a bad thing that motor just likes to rev really high so there will be no lack of speed.
