Me personally kind of like the new tranny design.
Looks beefier inside with the wider gears.
If run a single motor it centers that in truck as well.
I know many still have old style tranny but I sold mine before it got more of a paper weight.

The new tranny is superior to the old tranny in pretty much every way except size(single speed converted original tranny with a hardened idler and beefed top gear is a stout, light and small tranny - hard to come by these days, though).

I was just making an observation based on looking at the chassis rails, looked like it could accommodate both. I to like the newer design better, all i got though is the old one. I do plan to get a newer transmission, but got to deal with what i got for now

I spoke with Jamie yesterday and they were packing them up, so many/most should ship today most likely. That means I should have them by the end of the week. :)

just heard from mike,chassis left today,might as well start tearing mine down so i'll be ready.Yeah

My chassis is being held back by customs. Bummer... :(
