Wow, that thing must be incredibly strong. How/where are the batteries going to be mounted?

...thats not TOO concept :D Thats what we are working towards on E-Sav.com with the 'old' (ahem) E-Savage and the Flux :) Looks great though...

Keep in mind that was designed almost two years ago :)

The battery positioning depends on the number and type of cells you run. Putting them next to the motor (with some heat shielding of course) is the best solution. That keeps the mass towards the middle of the car which benefits handling. If you have too many cells, you'd have to add battery trays on the outside of the chassis.
