HAHAHA reality check!

I'm ready for these to be available. I have a perfect candidate!! Maybe 2!

fatkidjoey 07.23.2009 02:22 PM

that was my pic , yes there is a switch wire , its about the same size as the MM but taller due to the fan

i have 1 more pic but its a little blurry

amigo: you get to test the MM Pro but you have a crappy camera? What kind of mess is that?

LOL, I know CC selected you just for that reason and so that not much exposure comes from this testing... lol

fatkidjoey 07.23.2009 02:36 PM

not my ESC my buddys i took these pics with my phone :)

emaxxnitro 07.23.2009 03:51 PM

is the case broken or is that the camera

suicideneil 07.23.2009 08:18 PM

Camera wobble ftw! Looks like the label is sticking out a bit on one side, making it look like the case is split.

I like this esc, looks like the same size roughly as the MM, only with a better, more MMM-type case. And a clip on fan.

Can we get some top-down shots, and shots from the other sides/ different angles? Pretty please?

Make sure to put your hands in the picture too!:rules:

Sammus 07.23.2009 10:02 PM

Tower has some specs up (nothing we don't know) but says:

Cells: 6-12 NiCd/NiMH, 2-6 cell LiPo

Lol...I bet it can run more than 12 nickel cells ;)

Arct1k 07.23.2009 10:09 PM

LOL No more CC betas to columbus OH now...

I like the 4s lipo max on the motor.

But so far the link is dead

Love the roses background!

E-Revonut 07.24.2009 12:25 PM

I like that it Is a re-buildable design, they also dropped the "s" desgnation so maybe it's a little longer as well

Mister-T 07.24.2009 01:23 PM

looks like that keep the low kv feature of there motor ... Slotless design + sensored ?
That motor must be ubersmooth to run !

brushlessboy16 07.24.2009 03:21 PM

Cant wait, the data logging ability will be awesome

Just got off the phone with castle. they plan on making lower kv 10th scale motors to run 6s in tenth scale. to improve efficiency and lower heat.. talking about 6s 2000mah packs for 10th scale..

might have to trade in my MMM for MMP

ravin 07.24.2009 03:32 PM

I posted this in a different thread.....The reason I posted this ...."It's going to be a cm-36 L 2200 mt motor"....is that it was on the box(at my LHS) that a new cm6900 was in. It was the last motor listed on the box, also on the side it gave the watts of the cm36s and cm36L...the L was 1200constant 2000 peak

SpEEdyBL 07.24.2009 04:47 PM

Isn't that 1200/2000 watt rating more like the rating for the Mamba Monster motors? What if the that cm36L is refering to the Neu-Castle 2200? (I know the Neu-Castle is not 36mm, more like 40/42 mm)

But heck, I just want to run this on 4-6s with my Tekin T8 1900 kv motor in my 8ight and use the sensors. I don't see why the MM pro wouldn't be able to handle it easily because of the relatively low current the 1900 kv draws.

nitrostarter 07.24.2009 05:19 PM

The Neu 1415 is a 36mm can tho...

BlackedOutREVO 07.24.2009 06:59 PM

I dont feel like reading through all the pages

But is this ESC going to have Dynamic timing? For the 10.5, 13.5 guys?

Mister-T 07.24.2009 08:11 PM

Most likely yes, and even better with there boost feature. I will probably sell my MMM, once MMP will be available. On a light 8th scale setup that will be killer

Metallover 07.25.2009 02:20 PM

I'm pretty sure it'll have a dynamic timing feature... I thought I read it earlier.. Not sure though.

edit - It has a sensorless, sensored, and sensored hybrid mode where it advances the timing.

I hope its as fast as the SPX and the tekin on the 200 update. Everyone knows them as the 2 speed esc. Looks like its shifting into 2nd gear on the straight. Its funny

Hybrid is different from sensored timing boost. Like I said, the SPX and the Rs pro are pretty dang fast.

I just hope it will compete. I like CC stuff. But if it isnt fast, then its back to the trusty LRP

The hybrid mode will have a timing boost (PLL) mode. Also, it will be selectable as to come-in speed, and max timing boost.

MMP will not have data logging. Sorry! Have to wait one more generation for data logging.

Yes, that was a nice feature to play with.

PBO 07.27.2009 11:52 PM

I noticed Tower have them up for mid August

V0RT3X 07.28.2009 05:39 PM

Time to sell my MM... lol

whitrzac 07.31.2009 01:02 AM

Is anyone beta testing one of these esc's in TC? Especially in the NorCal area? We got some pretty long straights for 13.5/17.5. Mod is fun, but for the most part 13.5 is a bigger class, so its more fun to run. But that timing boost is a must have!

Id love to see how it all works. LRP's customer service pretty much blows lol. Im always looking for something new to try

ravin 08.01.2009 07:03 AM

emaxxnitro 08.01.2009 10:24 AM

how can the mmp+ be cheaper than the mm?

Newer technology or more efficient construction? Case in point: my sister just got a new laptop with specs that exceed my almost 2 year-old laptop for about $500 less than what mine cost.
