Bit of an anti-climax, seeing as its unfinished, but..... potentially using Neu motors, built-in CC Ubec, 200 amps & 6s capable.... and January. Now Im in a pickle- what will Novak & Traxxas have to compete with this?.....

Looks really small compared to other ESC's..

it's got a neat tiny footprint.

coolhandcountry 10.19.2007 11:54 AM

You sure that is a mmm?

That's what i'm sayin'.. looks kinda "puny" to be able to handle 200A @6S, AND to have their new BEC integrated into all of that.

Dagger Thrasher 10.19.2007 12:26 PM

Blimey, that is small! Well, smaller than I'd have imagined...but then again, the brains board and BEC unit must be underneath the power board which will add a bit of size once the casing's on. It's excellent to hear that it's going to have a the new switching BEC integrated into it though; that should really help keep our setups clean.
Another 3 months to wait, but at least we now know it exists! :-)

looks like their 'sidewinder' looks like a low budget OEM thingy, concerning it's in the 'media' area of their site.

They had some of those there too. They look like a lower cost MM style layout, a little smaller and not lights or usb connector.

The CB for the MMM has a larger footprint than the MM. To help with the relative size, the battery wires are 10 gage.

Well, the pics from the rctech forums look a little promising; 35v caps (would still add a few IMO) and 10GA wires. Don't necessarily NEED a large footprint if they are using FETs that handle more current each and have lower Rdson values...
