And Joe Ling is the early leader. It's not looking good for MTBikerTim and Drift_Buggy.

lol, sounds like a race! Who's gonna be the first to get one, open it up, and run it?

So how many 6.5mm bullet connectors will I need to get my MMM ready for action?Hopefully I will have mine wed. or thurs. It shipped out of KC last night and I live 200 miles from there

I'm surprised someone doesn't have theirs running already. I suppose by tomorrow morning (my time) some one will be posting pictures and be as excited as a little kid on Christmas morning.

I'll probably be checking back every 5 minutes in hopes that's the case. I wish I could afford one right now :(

Let's just hope that the local postal service don't trip on me. Oh ya, still got to wrestle with customs. 15% for toy parts. Arrggghh...

I think the threshold limit for customs in Australia is AUD400 in the years past. Should be higher now right ? I remember more than 10yrs ago I bought some stuff from the states & had to go to Kewdale to pay customs & collect.

Joe Ling

Over $1000 gets taxed in Australia. Thats probably the worst thing for the hobby stores over here. No taxes and our postal system is pretty good at getting things through customs quickly.

Hi MTbiker Tim,

I am in the same boat as u are. I'm going to put the MMM in my savage as well. Fried my BK9920 in her first outing after the FLM conversion as I removed the fan (60mm).

Joe Ling

P.M. me your physical address Brian and I'll send you mine. This one went out with a wimper instead of a bang or a smoke show. Put new caps and heatspreader in when it started pulling the "re-boot" thing during races, ran it twice with no issues, on third run truck flipped and it will no longer "push truck". Powers up, programs, barely moves truck. Spreader only epoxied to fets, not case(used paste to test). I'm done with Quarks.............

When do you plan to get your monster? If you have it by this week end and come racing I'd really like to see it. I don't think I told you get, but I think my Feigao is dead. Either that or the ESC. I need to do some troubleshooting. Later!

The MMM comes with all the bullets required to get up and going

Yeah, use to be $400 but a few years back (I think it was now) it was changed to $1000. I have had a few parsels opened by customs and the contents checked

lincpimp 05.07.2008 10:00 AM

I was going to use my first MMM as a display model. I like to look at things:wink:

If I like the way it looks I may add a deans plug to it, but I do not plan to actually use it.
