bump because it's sexy nowhttp://img344.imageshack.us/img344/8...er540jz.th.jpg

just gotta finish making a few holes here and there, then the test pieces will be cut out of lexan to make sure everything lines up properly.

two screws will go through the top deck, the rear brace, and into the diffcase's holes.. no modifications needed to the stock diff cases :)

Cold Fusion 11.09.2005 09:21 PM

Looking good!

squeeforever 11.09.2005 09:40 PM

Dang, that is one detailed chassis. How long did it take u to make? IS there any pratical uses for the design or is it for looks?

A4DTM 11.13.2005 09:50 PM

?
just for looks? this chassis does what it needs to do.. will hold all my equiptment, and is designed to be unbelievably strong.. this chassis is not going to break. I'd bet everything I own on that statement..
as far as how long? um.. I started october,20th, so about a month.

nbcaznmaster 11.13.2005 10:22 PM

lol, for just the chassis? well, i bet it will be worth it when ur done.

Cold Fusion 11.13.2005 10:40 PM

Took me about 3 hours to machine the chassis. It would have gone faster if I had an automatic tool changer.

nbcaznmaster 11.13.2005 10:49 PM

Cool, u guys workign together? maybe u can help me make some custom revo parts....lol. I just need a battery tray and a rollbar outta aluminum.

CrazyPhantom 11.13.2005 11:00 PM

 OMG THAT LOOKS AMAZING:eek: GREAT JOB ANDREW, AND GREAT JOB ON DESIGNING NICK.

automatic tool changer, do I need to lend you money again?

Cold Fusion 11.13.2005 11:03 PM

Yeah, couple grand would do it.

Yeah, me and nick have been dreaming up stuff like this for a long time. Only recently have we have the capability to actually make the stuff though.

Sorry, I don't have the time to take on any more custom projects.

Xtreme R/C 11.14.2005 12:46 AM

Cold Fusion 11.14.2005 12:49 AM
