Dude, you live right near the ruggedest and prettiest part of the Rocky Mts. If there is anywhere to crawl, I can't imagine a better spot (other than maybe southern Utah.) CO has to be great too. One of those has to be a lot of fun to take camping and mess with while you are hanging around the site.

My cousins have houses near Babb by Glacier, and I've been around there and Hungry Horse and all that. Incredible places to go and play off in the woods.

If anyone can complain, its poor Bondo (FL) and BrianG (IA). Biggest mountains Bondo is going to find are the one's laying on Miami Beach.

Awesome pix in there. :intello: Didn't like scalers so much as they kinda seem a bit too "dollhouse-ish" to me (no offense meant), and less capable, but between dezfan's pix and those, I might change my mind. Very cool stuff.

Case in point, I am know the proud (?) owner of a Desert Eagle in 44 magnum... God only knows why I would buy it, but I just had to have it!

My best advise would be to give it a try, maybe just borrow a buddy's crawler and see if you like it. I thought crawling was a bit weird (and dumb) at first, but I have a few now and they just offer a different dimension in RC. I get bored bashing with a MT after 30 mins or so, but I can crawl/play for hours...

lol THIS!!

Batteries last long too since not much high speed runs are involved. Just steering, torque, and tactics onhow to overcome something.
