I, or my family for that matter, don't have an M5...but you have no idea how bad I wan't one... :004:

Around a track, the M5 would win because it can hold a lot better corner speed than the 14...but the 14 would own the M5 on the straights.

But then again, my dream M5 ain't stock. :017: Hello 700+hp with different gear ratio's.

My car is the G35 on the first page of the thread - which I can't complain about at all seeing how I'm just 16. :027:

Wow...600ft-lb's of torque across the entire RPM band must be fun...

We have an 03 Ram 1500...its such an awesome truck - Mopar all the way.

HotnCold 02.19.2007 04:52 PM

Imagine what 1000 ft/lbs feels like.... Oh wait - i can tell ya - feels awesome - woo hoo...

Yea, I love em also. The chevys make nice cruisers, easier to put hydraulics on. I like the Mopars for performance, I currently have a 1970 Roadrunner w/ 500ci stroker. Sold my 1970 GTX

And heres one for the Mopar fans...probably the rarest car you will ever see.

Is that a Coronett? Sorry, I don't know my Mopars. :002: How rare is it? I got a pretty rare vehical or two around...My grandpaw has a 1930 Model A 2dr Deluxe Phaeton. Theres only about 200 left in existance. My dad's got a 1991 GMC Syclone. Coulda been mine if I had straight A's... :mad:1 :mad:1 :mad:1 :mad:1

What vehicle of yours has that? Blown V8 I assume? (I'm just wondering)

Coronet, yep. If you watched the Barrett-Jackson auction, they auctioned one off just like this but 4 door. They said (sat.) there were three 4 doors built, and one even more rare which is a 2 door, and there is only one built. This is it.
426 Hemi, factory lightweight. 300 original miles. In the documentation with the car, it says it is for accelleration tests only, and can only be run for 7 minutes at a time. Came with factory aluminum heads, 538 gears, reverse manual valve body, etc.

Wow...nice. 600 was stock...so that what I assumed. 828 must be even more fun.

Do you have 4WD? If you do - you can run like 12 second passes at the drag strip with that much torque LOL

If I can ever find the money...I wanna get a Stillen kit for "my" car (Stillen kit = supercharger). Only thing is it has the ugly ass bump on the hood if I do... :031:

My other option is an exhaust, cams, and a tune...but then I wont have a bunch of torque down low... decisions decisions. :035:

squeeforever 02.19.2007 11:00 PM

Why do you say "my" car?

Yes, its a 4X4, and no, it wont come close to a 12. Gotta remember, thats a 7800lb rig, thats a LOT of mass to get moving. Hard launches on the stock drivetrain would have me shopping for some expensive parts - makes these CVD's and brushless stuff seem real cheap! My drag strips are mountain passes with me fully loaded passing every thing on the road. I love watching guys in their hopped up ricers when they get up in the elevation a little bit and their motors cant breath in that thin air! Its a lot more embarrasing for them when I pass them towing my big 'ol trailer than it is for me when they blow by me down on the flats!

Nothing wrong with a bump in the hood.....might look good! Run a turbo WITH the huffer. Best of both worlds!

BP-Revo 02.20.2007 12:46 AM

Whats a huffer?

I didn't know that thing weighed 7800 pounds stock. Thats pretty damned heavy. If I'm not mistaken, our Ram is 5300 pounds...didn't know a simple engine and drivetrain difference was 2500 pounds lol... Also...I figured if the truck was built to tow, it can handle some hard launches with no load.

Squee, I said "my" because technically it is my dad's but on the other hand I drive it everyday and I will most likely get it when I go to college.

squeeforever 02.20.2007 12:48 AM

Ah. I think a "huffer" is a supercharger...
