right you better get me a price on the 8XL and a 9920 controller (wasnt it? im so confused now) if that combo will run on 20 cells.

The controller is 199 dollars, and the motor; i simple don't know.. according to the latest info i got on them, it would be close to the price of the Feigao motors, but i haven't heard Mike about this for a while?

RC-Monster Mike 05.16.2005 05:23 PM

I should be able to offer the wanderer at a similar price to the Feigaos I have now (maybe a slight increase, but hopefully within $10). I won't know the actual price until I actually get them (shipping/customs fees etc. play a role here). I expect the 9920 controllers this week (and these are available anytime for drop ship). I would expect to be able to offer the xl wanderer motors for around $100.

All this talking want me to go fast as well....... Im usually good in math but I dont get teh formula that relates KV, RPM, volts and MPH, also how the motor relates to all this......

I have a 7XL on 16 cells right now, what RPM am I getting? What RPM would I get if I go 8XL on 20cells? or if I just go 20cells on my 7XL......... and lastly what kind of speed am I looking at with a 8XL on 20cells using 1/8 diffs and 51/?? spur/pinion?

RC-Monster Mike 05.16.2005 10:11 PM

You are probably getting around 40000 rpms under load with good cells. speed is a function of gearing, rpms, tire size etc.

Very nice! Can I ask why you are so gently on the throttle? :D

coolhandcountry 08.07.2005 08:03 PM

How you doing there rayn? Nice to see the maxx bling still going strong. Did you change out the motor and stuff yet? If so what did you go with? You are my idol. You made me want a fast truck when i saw yours in action.

Promod 08.07.2005 09:52 PM

Nice vid!!! I love the whine of a BL motor. What weight oil are you running in the center diff?

Thank you,
Promod

Promod 08.07.2005 10:35 PM

Candyman, Just went to you web site and saw your not running a center diff but a center slipper. How is the slipper set up working for you? It looks like the wheelies are under control.

Thank you,
Promod

CANDYMAN!!!
big fan of your truck
I know you tru BYT
BYT name is the same "Shadow350Z"

Candyman2 08.08.2005 01:03 PM

Hello everybody! Ive not run the truck for a while, other things going on in my life. Also the spur gear had come loose on the slipper and stripped it. I got a new gear but there is a lot of work (dremeling) of the gear needed to get it to fit as its a 56t from the ofna 2 speed set.

The clutch is strong, its not as good as the strobe i think but it can handle this without a problem. The only prob i had before was a little too much slip leading to a lot of heat and then plastic parts getting melted. That aside it all seems good now, you have to catch it right to pop the front wheels, its a lot lighter and the centre of gravity much lower, as you can see hardly any body roll or risk of flipping over, it almost looks under control!

Chase023 08.08.2005 06:57 PM

Come on!! try the 18 cells instead of 16!!! come on!!

hehe..

Long time!

Talk to ya later..

By the way I'll let you know when I get those gears made if you are still interested. I am just testing them which were going fine until the wheels got rounded out at the hex part. Time to upgrade to 23mm.

Well actually I would ask you to help me test em but I don't think you like the idea of metal to metal..LOL

Does any one know of any changes done to the maxx bling?
