Looks like the ebay seller is no longer carrying them. Anyone know where else we can pick one of these babies up?

I can get them, but they hit me with a MOQ. I was going to get them, but if I can't test the ESC first, I can't really put my money o them just yet LOL.

I sent them a note and they said "after chinese new year" so Feb 15th I think.

I got a 50 amp and a 120a I don't want anymore. Tested the 30's and didn't like the startup very much. You would need a program card though.

Just a little update. We finally got a little break in the rain so I took my buggy out for a nice run in the park during lunch. I've been wanting to try this out in a huge area for over a week now, so food was put on the backburner.

The park was soaked from the week of rain we just had, so the grass felt similar to a saturated sponge. Lots of visible puddles and tons of mud. Perfect for a little bashing. I had gone through and waterproofed a few of my bashers over the weekend since I was getting bored, and luckily I did the buggy too.

I got about 15 minutes of solid running on a 5s 4800mah hyperion lipo. The esc performed beautifully! I had no problems at all during the run. The temp on the esc was under 130*F after the run and I didn't even bother testing the motor or battery since they were warm to the touch, but not hot. The ice cold water on the field probably helped a lot. Its 45*F in the sun, but at least its sunny (yeah I know... its not really cold, but hey I'm used to so cal weather).

I have to admit, I'm liking this esc more and more every day. For the purpose that it serves (bashing), this esc is great. Now all I have to do is figure out what to do with the motor.... I was thinking about getting a kyosho 1/10th dbx pretty soon. Anyone think this motor could power it?

As I said before Im a skimmer... So its $85 for the ESC. That a little more than I was willing to spend for it. I will either look into a modded MM ESC or the new MMM.

rschoi_75 01.29.2008 12:55 PM

well.... its $85 for everything. the esc and the motor. The motor is probably worth $20 if sold off.

snellemin 01.29.2008 01:16 PM

The same motors are being sold for 50 bucks on ebay right now.

Right Here

johnrobholmes 01.29.2008 01:36 PM

Trying to be sold you mean. Not a bad price for a motor, although they don't have much power at all.

snellemin 01.29.2008 01:52 PM

I only use the motor to benchtest the ESC's. It's smells funny when it's running.

is this the same thing?

rschoi_75 01.29.2008 03:37 PM

yup, looks like it. Different seller though. and the price is higher, since it looks like this seller will stick it to you on shipping charges. lol... $20 for domestic priority. what a joke.
