Well, i can tell from my personal experience that they are arrogant.
A little story; I asked them if the plugs i used are suitable (because i heard about the 'loose contact' issue..) He told me that the plugs are perfect. One fine day, my schulze burned down.. I sent it back, and i got an email telling me, that it was the result of guess what... Loose contacts.. he even accused me of machining on my plugs. he was willing to give me a 25 percent discount on a new one.. After i told him that i asked him for the plugs, so that his knowledge had to cost me a fortune... He offered me a generous 50 percent discount.. After a few emails i got him replacing my esc for free, i didn't want any troubles with the plugs anymore, so i ordered a set of plugs from him as well.. i needed to pay 70 dollars, for an half hour of labour, invested in researching the esc and 8 sets of plugs.. I got a nice collection of pics from burned schulzes... I only know about 1 time that the 18.97 was replaced without a fuzz.. Only one of the many that went down... |

The 120 and 150 amp controllers still have the 42000 rpm limit. For best results and reliability, select a motor that will not exceed this rpm with the voltage you intend to use. The controller will act up when pushed beyond this limit. Under a heavy load, bad things could happen. The low switching frequency is optimized for below 42000 rpms, so it is best to stay there. Make the speed with gearing and keep the rpms below the limit and the controllers will be smooth, cool running and reliable.
