My MMM shipped today priority - So they have 2 of them now - I believe nothing is coming out until v3...

PS that is a bit too much of a hike for me 130miles each way!

BlackedOutREVO 09.29.2008 09:39 PM

We need pics!

130 is a breeze! I went 215 miles to get to the barn yesterday! I had a blast and it was great to meet some of you guys. Luciano and Chris have some of the greatest collections I have ever seen. Both are great guys, finnster included (can't remember your name). I did ok for my two qualifiers which where the first times I have ever raced off-road. In the main I have no idea where I finished, I had a battery fall out, thanks Luciano for putting that back in for me, then twice the switch got turned off on my MMM. The track was sick! Not only muddy but the triple was crazy. I only had badlands to use, although Chris offered up an option, they actually did well in the mud with the big spread out lugs they didn't load up. By the mains the track was finally drying up and some bow ties would have been ideal. All in all it was a great day, glad I went , and now I want to do a truggy conversion!

Here is some very raw and clippy video from the event...it's a few clips of a few guys I was with and mostly video of my truck on the triple (my favorite part!) I'm always too busy racing to shoot video, I can't wait to see what Ryan has!

I especially like the flip during the long jump competition....

Arct1k 09.30.2008 09:17 PM

Thanks for the video's - Ryan did you get more?

REVO-DADDY 09.30.2008 09:56 PM

The orange lawn dart makes me laugh every time.

The slash looks like it pulled a wheelie, not bad for the stock motor!

Any info on this coverage? Does anyone have the results? I'd like to know how I finished in the mud bath:lol: Finally got my revo all shiny again, about an hour worth of cleaning.

Arct1k 10.04.2008 07:23 AM

Not up yet....

So here is the first vid, and the funniest. Its the MT main (mixed BL vs Nitro) and there is just mayhem until the field gets spread out some. Needless to say BL takes the day:

I'll get more as I can, but it will take some time. :)

Arct1k 10.05.2008 07:41 PM

thanks - great stuff

E-Revonut 10.10.2008 11:29 PM

results still haven't been posted, does anyone have them?

REVO-DADDY 10.22.2008 10:22 AM

The results arre updated.

3-DNF's for me!

E-Revonut 10.25.2008 01:22 AM

Well I finally got to check the results and for a first timer I think I did pretty good! 3rd in first qualifier, 6th in second qualifier, and in the main with 2 unscheduled shut downs due to my switch getting turned off on the MMM and a battery falling out ( thanks for putting it back in Luciano) I finished 7th. That was actually last of those that finished but at least I did! If I hadn't had those 3 incidentsI think 5th or possibly 4th could have been possible. Anyways looking forward to the next one!

I was going to have you down faster, but I had trouble putting the pack in. I hope they change the track layout for next year.

auto2 10.25.2008 11:55 AM

It looks like I didn't even run my truck .

Arct1k 11.01.2008 07:40 PM

I guess it is relative ;)

jnev 11.02.2008 12:27 AM

I bet it was an awesome time though getting those trucks that muddy. A question for you though... how do you go about cleaning the truck after a muddy run like that? Do you take it apart piece by piece? I ask because I know one of my trucks will eventually become that muddy. But for now always running in SoCal, all there is is dust and sand, so an air compressor will make the car look practically new.

E-Revonut 11.02.2008 03:50 AM

My E-REVO was at least as bad as Arct1k's! I took the motor and esc off, they where just about spotless anyways, then got out the garden hose!!! After hosing it off, I shook off the excess and sprayed it down with WD-40. After sitting for a couple hours the WD soaked in and everything looked like new! Next time I will spray it down with WD-40 first!
