RC-Monster Mike 02.27.2005 07:06 PM

The powerstrokes won't be that much, so you will save a little there. I will try to get thgis stuff into the sotre soon, but if you have an item in mind and don't see it in the store, simply ask. I may have or be able to get it quickly. I have all those items in stock.

Sylvester 02.27.2005 07:08 PM

Mike, so when will you have those cool tires? i forgot what theyre called.

Sylvester 02.27.2005 07:13 PM

hmmmm. are you going to be using the stock tranny?

RC-Monster Mike 02.27.2005 07:16 PM

I don't have a date for the komodos. i am at the mercy of my distributor! Hopefully soon!

Toby, I forgot to list turnbuckles and turnbuckle ends in the list. Besides that, you will need a transmission, steering linkage, steering servo, servo saver and the radio equipment. That should be about it, besides the batteries, charger and tools to work on the truck.

Sylvester 02.27.2005 07:18 PM

Yes! Once they come in i will be the first to buy them :)

toby 02.27.2005 07:55 PM

so what do you think of my parts and what other parts like names and stuff for me?

Sylvester 02.27.2005 08:30 PM

Mike, the cvd's i ordered will cover the 4 spots near the wheels, but what should i use for the center ?

RC-Monster Mike 02.27.2005 08:41 PM

Sylvester,
Did you get the extension kit for the chassis? If not, I would recommend it. If you go with a high power set-up, the Unlimited Engineering center shafts will work perfectly (they have a stock size and an extended size - stock size for the stock maxx or g-maxx without the extension, the ext. kit for the g-maxx and extension kit.) They don't ship International, though. Let me know and I will get some for you.

Toby,
Your list is pretty complete. You will also need spider gears for the diffs (need two, as well as two sets of cvds and two sets of knuckles). Then, you need a transmission, some rod ends (for the turnbuckles). Of course, you need a motor/controller, servos and a radio system(transmitter and receiver). I have pretty much all of this stuff, although I haven't gotten the chance to put some of it on the site yet.

toby 02.27.2005 08:43 PM

post what wouold be best for me please mike

Sylvester 02.27.2005 08:44 PM

Dear Mike, i think i will stick without the ext kit, but could you get me the stock size center shaft? It would be greatly appreciated.

RC-Monster Mike 02.27.2005 08:49 PM

Consider it done! Actually, I happen to have a set in stock! I try to keep a few of these around for my International customers, because UE doesn't ship International. I pay full retail for them (haven't been approved as a dealer yet for UE), but at least my International customers have an option to get them.

toby 02.27.2005 08:50 PM

are UE a arms better then GMAXX? and help me out with the rest of the parts please

Sylvester 02.27.2005 08:52 PM

Dear Mike, Thats awesome! Please hold that 1 set for me , just post it and ill buy it :) Toby Gmaxx all the way brother.

toby 02.27.2005 08:53 PM

i know. the parts that mike listed are the ones i need

Sylvester 02.27.2005 08:55 PM

well so far i need tires , rims and center shaft from him, and oh yah, Brushless!!

toby 02.27.2005 09:01 PM

tires and rims are secong. first are the parts to get this thing actually working

toby 02.27.2005 09:04 PM

what is the definition of beadlocks? people say they are ogod

RC-Monster Mike 02.27.2005 09:11 PM

The advantage to beadlocks is that you don't need glue for the tires. The bead of the tires is locked to the rim. They look nice and work well, although they are a bit heavier than regular rims.

toby 02.27.2005 09:12 PM

would you uise them?

HotnCold 02.27.2005 09:26 PM

Mike - prob not - the weight thing is an issue - but i might be wrong

toby 02.27.2005 09:27 PM

i cannot decide

Sylvester 02.27.2005 09:32 PM

thats a tough decision

RC-Monster Mike 02.27.2005 09:35 PM

I don't use the beadlocks (I am a lightweight freak!). The RDLogics aluminum rims, on the other hand, I would consider. They are actually pretty light (considering they are aluminum) and they look sweeeet!

Sylvester 02.27.2005 09:36 PM

oh the ones for 100$? they do look nice and are aluminum, i might think about it.

toby 02.27.2005 09:47 PM

ya forget about beadlocks. sorry miek

Sylvester 02.27.2005 09:48 PM

good shoice toby.

toby 02.27.2005 09:49 PM

Sylvester 02.27.2005 09:49 PM
