Great Job Tbro !, The goofy gas and Nitro went down for the count !
Whats next pull, A John Deer Tractor ???? Manne, You in St Pete Fl. ? |
Sweet, Baja put up a good fight but couldnt overcome that kind of power- the maxx was spinning its wheels and still won :mdr:
|
That Baja got punked. Great vid man.
|
@kcaz25 hey nothing wrong with trying... Lol.
@manne Now that's funny! Lol @bondonutz well there is a big nitro truck that 4x4 out there... I won't try him until I get some softer tires that can grip the pavement like my old Big Joe tires did. Glad yall like the video! Thanks for checking it out... |
Nice pull, great job on the baja!
I would really like to see you pull against one guy who lives round here in southern Germany somewhere. He built a monstertruck with 4 nitro engines, allthough I'm no fan of nitro engines, this beast was quite impressive. And it didn't sound as annoying as most, I mean all, nitros:whistle: But I guess that's never going to happen:cry: |
@JoeFreak are you serious?? That's sick.. I would love to see that match up too. I already have a guy in GA that called me out in this thread. He has 2 plettenburg motors on his and wants to pull for pink slips lol. Doubt that'll ever happen lol. We can do a pullout for kudos though. It would be up to him.

Baha? What's so funny? :mdr:
|
|
That just pure r/c porn:lol:
Current active strokers:whistle: |
Well I know the comp is coming for me now. I think I'm ready to upgrade from my 280/340 6S esc and get a 10S esc. Any suggestions??
|
MMMXL? :mdr:
|
lol! There is no such esc... Or am I wrong? Lol.

Oh there is!! lol. I had no idea.... Thanks.

In the last video, there's a pic of the Neu 1527 in the car. It's blue, and with ribs? Is this a cooling sleeve or something? Where'd you get that? :D
And what Neu wind are you running? |
The fins are part of the can- looks like its built to ImpaktRc specs or something ( they had Neu OEM them their own design of motor with a blue finned can, though I only ever saw 1515 and smaller size cans on their site...
|
Yeah the fins are part of the can. The motor was black, I had my buddy who is one of the top model builders on the east coast paint it blue for me. It goes alot better with the truck. I love it!
P.S. I have a new video coming this week. Its not a pullout, but it is footage of my truck in action. |
Where can I get that can, T-bro? I need something to cover up the holes of the motor.
|
The 'can' means the body of the motor- you cant buy it as a separate item. What motor do you have that has holes in its body/ where are the holes?
|
It's the same motor as he has. Neu 1527 only has the air version, so there are holes infront and behind where you can see the wire. I could just tape them up, but that would be a temporary solution.
|
Hmm. I think aluminium tape would be your best bet, no real way to cover those holes, short of machining a super thin sleeve of some't like that...
|
Sorry fellas but I have been really tied up since the NBA season is getting closer. I will still be posting that video asap. I'm working on it now.
Also my truck is tore down and going through a complete Tune Up. I'm polishing all the parts to get that shine back. Then I will take some good photos and see if I can get in some of the R/C magazines. I'm also getting a better wheelie bar, stronger steering servo, (around 4250z of torque) softer 23mm tires, (no idea which ones that will be), and bigger esc with at least 150Amps so I can move from 6s lipo to 10s lipo. Once I've done all that, I will be 100% DONE with the "Beast". I'll keep you posted!! |
Good luck. It's an impressive car with an impressive background. Maybe you could do an interview on your victories as well. ;)
Do you have an ESC in mind? Going to use one of your MGM's? |
