I know a guy ovAlmer on a different site that is trying out the Integy Alum. bulkheads. He said that they are working well so far. Would be a first for Integy....

I just got a new TQi receiver to replace my broken origional receiver. The origional one was from about 2 years back.

The problem is that the Traxxas TQ transmitter that used to be easy to bind to the older Traxxas receivers wont bind to the new TQi receiver

I pressed the "set" button and held it while I turned on the trans (and held it down) then I pressed the link button on the TQi receiver, and powered up the receiver (and held the button down). Both lights stay blinking for ever. They never go green and solid.

I tried letting go of the buttons when the lights flashed ............. still nothing
I tried receiver first ................. nothing
I tried transmitter first ............. nothing

anybody else have this problem ............... is it possible that the old 2.4 TQ transmitter wont bind to the new TQi receiver ?

Looks like your old(er) TQ transmitter won't work with the TQi receiver I'm afraid, you're out of luck.
