The aluminum chassis is popular for racing, and it includes all the necessary mounting screws, battery straps and instructions for putting it together. We ship pretty much anywhere, and have shipped to Canada a few times, so no worries there. The stock chassis is designed to hold 6 cells on each side. The g-maxx chassis can hold up to 8 cells flat per side, and more if you stack them. When you go brushless, the extension kit is a worthwhile upgrade, as the front end becomes difficult to keep on the ground otherwise!

The CF is lighter than the aluminum by about 2 ounces. Strength is not an issue on either chassis.

Carbon fiber will save you some weight and still be as strong as the aluminum ones. I had a carbon fiber hood on one of my older cars and it was strong enough to me and my friend to jump on. It wasnt the cheap single layer type, it had the internal webbing.

okay thanks.. is there a charger that can charge 16 cekks?
I have the carbon fiber chassis and I have no problems with it. I dont drive it like a "shelfer" either.

If I may speak for the other board members: It has been our Pleasure! Glad we could help!

i have one question.. where the batteries go i like the black? can i do that?
If I understood your question, you would like to know how the aluminum chassis is black where the batteries go? If this is what you mean, the chassis kits now come with a die cut foam pad that sticks to the aluminum (or CF) at the battery locations. These help hole the cells, and protect them from damage.
o okay.. you can expect my order with a month or two
i just noticed that to buy a BL motor the price isn't bad but the controller is a lot
Just like a normal brushed setup.
o okay.. would you buy (after the truck) which batteries ( i know the charger.. thanks) tires and wheels and powerstrokes or no tires and wheels and go to the chasis?
Batteries go with the GP3300 or they have a new GP3600 either out already or coming soon. The stock tires and rims are awesome for bashing. Go with the chassis to lower the CoG.
