Thanks Lamy

Your welcome . I like it as well because it provides plenty of venting . Plus it still leaves alot of the winsheild for support. . I used a sanding drum from a dremel .

Not to hijack your thread, but I've got a couple questions for the 9e owners. What differential oil do you run, and what brand (theres so many choices). I also would like to know what body is a direct fit, if any. I have searched around with no luck. All help is appreciated.

Cain 10.27.2009 07:28 PM

For the diffs, 5-5-3 front to rear is common I believe. that is what I am running.

For bodies, if you want something that fits tighter, you can try the Hot bodies VE8 body, and mount up the Tekno mudguards for a nice fit from what I have read on RCtech.

Funky, I like the angled rear arms, also I've never had any problems with the rear end.

gixxer 10.28.2009 12:00 PM

I never had a problem with anything other then the front arms. Good to see them making improvements, but I will hold off on upgrades for now. With how fast they seem to make changes the parts will probably be updated again before my racing season starts again anyways.

Cain 10.28.2009 01:44 PM

yeah, thats the bad thing with all the fixes, its great they are coming out, showing they are not just sitting on the issues, but, at the same time, its kind of hard to keep up with them too.

I am going to just keep running the vehicle I have in its configuration with my spares, and upgrade when needed, or, must buy another car when they release the latest spec version with the upgrades present. By then, the car probably will be ready for a refresh.

Bondonutz 10.28.2009 02:16 PM

I broke a front arm, nothing else. Ben beating the shiz out of it too !
