|
Lol.
|
I need no gentle finger, gentlemen- I need a fast truck ( and still, controllable). And BTW, if you have some suggestions regarding my diff and shock oils, then please share it with me. Otherwise, this subject would cause me nothing, but nausea.
New Subject: I need these following items to complete my truck and I could not get in touch with Mike?!! I e-mail him at mike@rc-monster.com, but my server said that my e-mail was delayed then it said a day later that a failure occurred while the message was being on its way: - LEHNER 1950/10 MOTOR - FASTLANE MACHINE FRONT HYBRID BULK - UE 100.5MM REAR DRIVE SHAFT - UE CUP - UE WHITE THICK SPACER FOR SUPERSHOCK - 8MM SPACERS FOR 7.5 DIFF'S PINION - DEANS ULTRA CONNECTORS*2 BAGS - 3.5MM BULLET TYPE CONNECTORS*2 BAGS - DEANS WET NOODLES 12 GAUGE WIRES - CERAMIC BEARING KIT - A SOLDERING STATION |
What to do, mates? surely some of you faced the same problem.
|
with 20 cells and a spastic finger your truck will die.
Go figure captain.. |
Whatever you say, dude. Just help me for the time being in building my truck and I promise you that I'll spar with you days and nights after I build it.
BTW, Serum. Why most of you prefer a Hi-Amp version motors over the regular type? what are the good things about the Hi-Amp version cans and the bad things about the regular ones? |
I have both and not really not sure what the difference is beside the the choice of change the windings.
|
i prefer the non highamp over the highamp, with the non highamp, you get two motors. you can re-solder them in star configuration.
So now you got your answer, here is a thing i'd like to share with you; I won't spar you about any truck or any setup ever. it is not in my nature, the 'dude' part in your reply bothers me though |
Any major advantages in star config over the reg config?
|
Serum,
Can you please explain the benefit of running a motor in star config? |
In star, the KV gets lower Sicco, so the motor will take less amps, and with the right motor, you are able to drop it from a transmission reduction to a centerdiff reduction. (takes off a 1.76 to 1 ratio)
The only downside of the non highamp motors is that they use only 3.5mm plugs. but they seem to hold up fine. |
Hmm yeah that was the reason I got the hiamp version, bigger connectors. We'll see how it does.
|
I think it will hold up fine, considering the 2280 does use the 3.5's
