Ah, yes.. now i remember.. the company that ignored my emails....

aqwut 09.28.2006 01:16 PM

did they really ignore it.... they ignored mine too, untill I ordered the sample pack... and it's pretty tough... I didn't think it was worth it... but it's cool... so I order the 1/8" thickness 12 x 18 Sheet ($108).... I hope The guy at Kershaw does a nice job on the chassis.... cuz that's an expensive sheet... and $370 for the chassis, center drive system with slipper, motor mount... I wish I could give that money to Mike instead. ;)

they listed it as 200 psi.. so to me, it seems pretty tough....

Serum 09.28.2006 01:17 PM

Good to hear i am not the only one they ignored, i figured their samplepack was overrated in price..

i don't deal with companies that 'loose' two of my emails..

aqwut 09.28.2006 01:22 PM

I had no choice but to get that..... I like that carbon fiber look... and I can't find anything stronger than that...

www.graphiteelegance.com

Currently on holiday.. but they have got nice CF (also angles)

aqwut 09.28.2006 01:51 PM

They don't have a nice mirrored finish like the dragonplate?... I wonder how strong there Carbon Fiber is... Have you tried them before Serum...?

Serum 09.28.2006 01:54 PM

No, i haven't tested it yet. i think it will be more than okay for RC, I personally don't think it's neccesary to comb my hair in my RC..

Procharged5.0 09.28.2006 02:23 PM

What? It's runs great but can't look great? :D

Serum 09.28.2006 02:56 PM

Well, like Leroy says;

i don't notice it when it passes by at 45mph..

captain harlock 09.28.2006 02:58 PM

Is it hard to make some CAD drawings?

Serum 09.28.2006 02:59 PM

No, depending on the software. acad is useless imo. not that it's complex, but is the least logical piece of software ever..

I can't argue with that. Just the same I still try to keep mine clean (at a minimum) and well detailed when I can. My Supermaxx/E-maxx is the latter while the revo is the former.
