He's really getting on my nerves right now... Getting it doen little by little.
telling you guys... just get some 2in aluminum angle
TakeDown got us some 1/4in pleziglass that we are making some temporary mounts with. He saved the day again.
just get aluminum, he even told me that plexiglass or poly carb wouldnt work
Depends on the design, plexiglass that thick should be ok.
Plexiglass won't work well. It's too brittle. Polycarbonate/Lexan, on the other hand, will work well. I'm using 1/4" polycarbonate bent to a 90* angle to mount a KMS 4130 outrunner to my HPI MT2. It's a bit flexible (that's why it won't break), but some simple bracing fixed that.

But it has no heatsinking abilities... the motor is gonna heat up more then the esc..

MM Hacking... "Overvoltage Issues..."
It might work. Worked in the savage so far.
Ok you guys I guess Im gonna have to give you the update on the E-savage. We ran it yesterday with just RWD on the new custom mount I fabricated which is holding up just as I expected and its doing great! Cogging is pretty much non-existant, torque is amazing and the top speed is very good also "around 40-45mph on 4s". Everything is running cool accept the MM which I borrowed him. It isn't getting to hot but its hot enough to bug me. He plans to get the MMM once all the bugs are worked out. But ya all I have to say is Im very pleased with the way its turned out so far.
Glad to hear it's running well. Post some pics/vids!!
Ill see if I can get some pics this weekend of it and maybe a vid. Ill also see if I can get pedebeater to take some pics of it.
