Im going as fast as I can. The ESC still hasnt been shipped out yet.
Link to batteries?
i'm pretty sure plows should be wider than the wheelbase. i'm no rocket surgeon, but that's how we did it on the farm.............
Its a stretched MT though...

Hey thanks for the nice compliments Feista! Im not much into racing right now. The only truck i have that would sort of suite the job is my brushless evader which isnt all that great of a truck if you ask me. I wasnt able to get the e-warhead in the pic because it kinda met its maker, "a long drop into a hard snow bank".
Ok guys good news. I was finally able to upload the pics of the 2 sprokets and chain installed onto the truck...

Sweet! Now all you need is an esc, right? Or are the batteries still on order too?
Batteries I still need to figure out what I want yet... The esc still needs to be shipped from astroflight. I sure hope they ship it soon....
More good news. Astro finally shipped out the 204d esc! It should be here tommoro. More pics and updates of how it runs in testing will be added.
Finally got the esc today... Inastalled it and test ran it about 30mins ago on a fully charged 18v drill pack for a demo. On 18v Im quite impressed. It fishtails with ease and gets up to speed very quickly. The mech brakes and everything are working flawlessly. The ESC is running cold and the batts are aswell. I plan to double up that pack from 18v to 36v in a few days. In the meantime, here are some pics...
And ya I have no clue what that yellow stuff is on the tire. Just showed up in the pic. http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...cture012-2.jpg http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...cture013-2.jpg http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...cture014-2.jpg |
Looks great! Can't wait for a vid!
Thanks trev. I am looking forward to trying it on 36v.
pics on post 222 show only a rear driveshaft. Did you reinstall it and keep 4wd? Awesome build! Any chain noise?
I can't wait to see it either. Looking nice. what connectors are those on the battery? You plan on using those for the PB batteries?
Ya its RWD for now. Very fun indeed. The 4wd upgrade kit is the next thing on my "to get" list. The connectors are astroflight.
