Some low angle shots just off the ground would make the buildings look much bigger. Pan back and forth between the town and the battle truck, but never have them in the frame together. You could even do different angles to make the town look much larger than the truck. And play the standoff music from "the good, the bad and the ugly"

I think you should make one of the stores "RC Monster" and have that as the only building left standing...

Hey guys thanks for the great suggestions.. I was thinking about leaving one house standing (RC-Monster) last night (late last night after a bottle or two) LOL.LOL (great minds do think a like) set in a western theme with (good, bad & ugly music) using different camera angles… I can totally visualize it (looking GOOD) BUT I cant paint old western style stuff.. I'm trying to find pictures of ghost towns, but nothing to promising at this point.. so if you have them shoot them over.. I went out and got some of the “flat” American accents paint (gay “summer squash, Mango, Fossil & seaside green” paint) I bleep you not.

So I was thinking of painting everything in “gay tones” colors, buying some Barbie and Ken dolls, some plastic Porsche’s, vet’s, white picket fences, etc. then (still with me) turning the neighborhood into a gay a lesbian comity with a front welcome sing that reads “WELCOME TO PROP 8 Town”

Well my rendition of a old western town is done :whistle: “it’s my first time even trying anything like this so give me a brake / cut me some slack” :lol:

I even tried to Foe paint the buildings:oh:, shoot I’ve got a total of 6 coats on the buildings (including the primmer)…:rofl: So just need to make up the town sign (so I can run it over) “of course” :intello: and I’ll be good to go… :wink:

The town is just under 10’ long and the average height of the buildings is 21” tall with a depth of 12”.. or just under $500.00 for balsa wood, paint, tape, effects, etc.

I also completed the front city marker sign but NEED A NAME FOR THE TOWN ????? Thanks for stopping by, I’ve already done some RD on the effects paintballs have being shoot at 210ft per second on milk cartons and watermelons (must see the Video) and I'm expecting it to completely rip holes in the builds like cannon shoots would (that’s why this is going to be so fricken cool) I’ll completely destroy this town and then burn the reminder down to the ground with help of smoke sticks and other small fireworks I was able to find… LOL.LOL..



It’s the one TAKE thing that scares me!.. but I think I have it all thought it correctly and in the rite sequence of events (lots going on) the town defending it’s self against the all mighty war machine paintballs and rockets firing, the truck drooping off a 4’ droop off to smash the white house to bits, fire, smoke, etc (it should be a blast) . Wish me luck I'm going to need it..

So I went out today and got some movie props / IE more money wasted!..

I was looking for (Stagecoach, dolls, farm animals, tumble weeds, etc) but after much wasted time in (toys-R-us, target and wallmart) I came to the conclusion that there are no western toys out there :diablo:, at least not in LA / OC area..

So now I’ve got an old abandon ghost town that has been taken over by the military performing secret opps. :intello: Which kind of works out better now with the town defending itself and all of the toys make cool gunfire and bombing noises and my tank is remote controlled so it can go head-to-head with the battle truck (a little something for TexasSP):lol::lol:.LOL . Also the large guy at the back is the major TANG first name Poot

LOL.LOL my wife saw it all together for the first time and asked if I was making our kids a play town, my BOY says NOPE mom, DAD is making this town to destroy for the battle truck movie (with a huge smile of his face). At witch point my wife asks me HOW MUCH DID YOU SPEND ??? at witch point I responded with OOOOOooo you really don’t want or need to know so just let it go!.. (After 18+ years of marriage) TRUST ME the honeymoon is long gone and who really cares anymore and after to being married with me for close to two decades she now knows enough to let it GO!.. See you can teach and old horse new tricks, it’s just a LONG, PAINFULL process we AS MEN must go through (for the GREATER GOOD) US!!... HHaaaHHHHaaaHHHaaa..

As for taking a freeze frame of the main forum page- just use the 'prt scr' button and paste it into MS Paint- you may need to scroll down and do another screen capture of the page if it wont all fit on the screen, then just mate up the two halfs and resize it as required.

Hay Fast.. I'm taking it all to a construction site, I found the perfect spot where I can fire off my rockets, blast it with paintballs and light the smoke / burn it to the ground when I'm done with it.

Also the idea of the two sentry / IE busting through the main gate (so to speak) is exactly what I had in mind.. That and a guy constantly shooting at my truck with a paintballs (simulating the base defenses) :lol: but then again that’s why I have the dual smoke system out the back.. :wink:

I’ve got the whole scene planned to the tee I just need to get it right on the first try and since nothing has gone right (the first time out) it will at least make one hell of funny blooper real.. :party:

P.S. / for what it worth. I’ll be using BRIGHT ORANGE paint balls on the town and the two guys firing back at me through the buildings will be using bright yellow paintballs (that way you can tell who is winning).. Also I’ll be on fully Auto and they will be using burst… just to make it fare..

I'm hoping this will add some added coolness to the movie ,:wink: I’ll place these between the sentry’s and town and hit them as I go on the attack, :oh: One will have paint balls and the other I’ll fill with field smoke. They are activated by 3 lbs of weight so in theory they should blow up when one of tires rolls over it !. I'm trying to keep things out the box so to speak..:lol:

And I'm officially done spending / throwing money out the window on this movie,: yes: when I added up all of the propos (everything) I was shocked :surprised: (we’ll leave it at that)

If everything goes as planned I'll be filming this weekend..:yipi: (I need to wait for the landmines to show up) :wink:
