You will need the following to complete the whole tranny ; http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...R-AL-WS&cat=47 , http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...TRX3991&cat=48 , http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...TRX3990&cat=48 , http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...TRX3994&cat=48 , http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...TRX3993&cat=48 , and http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...TRX3985&cat=48 . Thats for the complete tranny, are you going to use the aluminum side cover by flm or stock plastic?

squeeforever 12.18.2005 01:13 PM

captain harlock 12.18.2005 03:23 PM

Oops, I forgot the traxxas gearbox halves. $9.25

squeeforever 12.18.2005 05:41 PM

you wont need the gearbox halfs since you are going to use the flm half and g-maxx conv. also, with the single speed eliminates 1 of the idlers in the tranny so you will only need 1. a few more things to add to your list:

bumpers (i would go stock)
bulkhead braces (i would use rpm plastic or flm)
strobe sprong kit (not required but recommend and if you use this you wont need the stock tension spring)

p.s. were did you find rims and tires for 60 bucks? with 40 series such as the cheyenne and crime fighters or mashers for instance would be closer to 100 bucks.

captain harlock 12.18.2005 05:56 PM

For the wheels and rims, Mike sells a pair of premounted rims/tires for 30 dollars. I dont think that the Hybrids need any braces, since they're already come with braces built with them.
The bumpers, where can I find it?

Papa 12.18.2005 05:56 PM

NO bulkhead braces needed with the hybrid bulks. If you are using the Gmaxx motor mount the sprong will not fit.

captain harlock 12.18.2005 05:58 PM

I will not be using the g-maxx motor mount. About the chassis extension you're using in your lovely truck, does it fit in the FLM chassis?

Papa 12.18.2005 06:04 PM

No FLM here, so no promises. It should work on any chassis that is built to the maxx standard. An exteded rear center drive shaft is needed.

captain harlock 12.18.2005 06:08 PM

So, the S.speed tranny consists of one idler, one output gear,....what else? the bearings. How many of them do I need in the single speed tranny?what size? sorry for asking again, could not understand it the first time.

Papa 12.18.2005 06:12 PM

Hear is a link to the assembly diagram for the tranny The part numbers are listed in the diagram. I suggest you print it out and keep it in your files.

captain harlock 12.18.2005 06:14 PM

any suggestions for the bumpers?

Papa 12.18.2005 06:18 PM

You really do want us to make all your decisions don't you?:L:

Kinda depends on the look you are going for. My stock maxx has an RPM bumper.

captain harlock 12.18.2005 06:29 PM

Sorry for being very dependable, but I did not even own a e-maxx befor so please hang in there a bit, okay.
