Dude! first off...i'd like to say amazing maxx!!! your craftsmanship of the plates etc is very impressive!! looks so factory!

secondly, i've had this same idea in my head for such a long time and i've actually been searching high and low for a "in-line" slipper unit such as yours,(so that i can do without the maxx tranny) so you can imagine how happy i am to see this idea in the flesh.

thirdly, could you please furnish me with the part numbers of them ofna parts??? the slipper unit as well as the parts that hold the bearings that hold the slipper?

It are Ofna parts, though you might consider waiting for the Slipperential Mike is currently testing/developing..

It uses a centerdiff and a slipper.

And I can add the slipperential should make you use a bigger pinion due to
the riduction it has. This one of Candyman2 makes you have little pinions.
It could be a problem with a lot of power.

Yes, the slipperential will have a different ratio, because of its extra gears. So you can use bigger pinion for the same ratio.

The center slipper i used is from an ofna dominator, but im not sure its available anymore. The unit Mikes working on looks like it'll be a nice option however.

ah thats good then, i got mine of ebay for about $20! they used to stock it at Tower hobbies for something silly like $80

You can use a differential as well out of a ofna mbx buggy. I put on of them in my gmaxx. I wanted to have a truck like maxx bling.

From my understanding, the slipperential will allow you to use normal pinions that you currently use.

The slipperential uses mod1 pinions, which are available in 1/8", 4mm and 5mm bore in the RC-Monster store. :)

If you went to a jato spur You could probably run the 32 pitch gears.
